Hello Crafty Friends!! Larissa here today as part of the upcoming Fall/Winter Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!! I've created a couple of cards showing some FUN ways to incorporate Therm O Web Products into your Projects!!

Thank You Deco Foil Coffee Card

For my First Card, I'm creating a FUN Rustic Fall Thank You Card!! I wanted to create a more Random Multi Foiled Layered background to resemble the look of Falling Leaves!! Here's the Process I came up with!!

I started by using Distress Oxide Inks in Barn Door, Iced Spruce, and Carved Pumpkin and Fossilized Amber to ink up my A2 Card Panel!! Then I created this FUN Foiled background using the Deco Foil Transfer Gel along with the NND Falling Leaves Stencil!! I set it aside to Dry!! I knew I wanted to create more realistic looking Leaves so I decided to Cut up little pieces of the Foil (I used Champagne, Copper and Aqua Deco Foil) and create a Patchwork Foiled look to my Background by randomly layering the Foil pieces to get some Multi Foiled leaves!!

After running it through my Laminating Machine this is how it looked!! BEAUTIFUL on it own, but I wanted some more texture and for it to look more like real leaves!!

So I took some Fine Grit Sand Paper and Sanded over top of the Leaves in tiny Circular motions!! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way it looks and will DEFINITELY be recreating this technique on other foiled Projects!! For the Focal Image, I Die Cut a Coffee Mug from some Patterned Paper and then Inked the Edges and the Center of the Cup using Rusty Hinge Distress Ink!! Water Splatters were added to the center of the Coffee Cup for some Texture!! Then I Stamped and Embossed the "Thank You" Sentiment from the Gina K. Designs Stamp-n-Foil Stamp Set with Clear Embossing Powder!! I then added some Copper Foil and ran it through my Laminating Machine to Foil the Sentiment!! I LOVE the way it looks!! I also Foiled some of the Gina K. Designs Stamp-n-Foil Leaves using Champagne and Aqua Deco Foils!! Then I used the coordinating Gina K. Designs Stamp-n-Foil Dies to Die Cut the leaves out!! I wanted to make them POP off the Card Panel so I used Distress Oxide Inks in Antique Linen to ink the entire Leaves, then I added touches of Iced Spruce to the Aqua Foiled Leaves and Fossilized Amber to the Champagne Foiled Leaf and then used Ground Espresso to ink the edges of the leaves!! Next, I Die Cut a Banner from some Dark Brown Cardstock and used it to ground my images!! I Die Cut a Circle from some Kraft Cardstock and inked it using Ground Espresso and then Die Cut some Stitched Steam inked over the Stitched Steam design using Distress Ink to make them come to life!! I used some of the NEW Gina K Designs Foam Tape to attach the Focal Image to the front of my Card!! Warm Wishes Coffee Card

For my Second Card I wanted to create a Holiday Card that could be used to enclose a Gift Card for a Holiday Gift!! I used the Gina K Designs Stamp-n-Foil Set and LOVE the way it turned out!! I started by Stamping the Pine Branches using a mixture of Shabby Shutters, Bundled Sage, Iced Spruce and Evergreen Bough. Next, I stamped the Holly Image using the same Distress Inks to create a multi-colored image. For the Holly Berries I used Peach Bellini and Red Hot Gina K Designs Inks. Then I foiled the Holly Image using Black Deco Foil. I wanted to create a String of Multi Colored Lights so I used Denim, Gold and Magenta Deco Foils along with Ginak K Designs Fancy Foils in Brilliant Blue, Twinkling Pink and Gold Sequins to make the Lights appear to be twinkling!! Its hard to see the affect in photos, but in real life, this little detail adds TONS of interest. I place Black Deco Foil over the entire String and ran it through the laminating Machine. I Fussy Cut the Lights out and then adhered them to the Pine Branches, using Small Foam pieces for dimension on some of the lights. I added some Distress Inks using Q-Tips!! I used Broken China, Picked Raspberry and Fossilized Amber. I Stamped and Embossed the Sentiment and I splattered some Picket Fence and Black Soot Distress Paint for the look of Falling Snow. I Die Cut the Coffee Cup from some Patterned Paper and inked the edges using Picked Raspberry Distress Ink!! The Holly Image was added to the Cup using some Gina K Designs Foam Tape!! I added some Tonic Studios Glitter Nuvo Drops for some Sparkle!!
