Fall Lola Top Made with HeatnBond and Blend Fabrics

It is no secret that I love Cori Dantinis Fabrics from Blend. I would be in heaven with a bolt of every fabric she ever comes out with. One of my favorite things is Cori's fabric panels with her cute drawings that put a smile on your face. Sometimes I'm not sure what to do with them so this time I decided to take a beautiful pattern and use the panel as the main focus of the top. Other Supplies:
Erasable marking pen, Iron (Oliso Pro), sewing machine, sharp scissors, other general sewing supplies
Fabric Cutting and sewing instructions for LolaTop:
  1. Follow the pattern cutting and sewing directions.
  2. For the bodice I choose to use HeatnBond® Woven Fusible to give it a little more stability with the extra weight of my lace and ribbon. The pattern used fabric for the center ruffle but I chose to use some scrap pieces of lace and ribbon. Don't be afraid to go in your own direction, it is the best part of making your own items.

JeniferCowles HeatNBond Woven Fusible Blend Lola Top Fuse the HeatnBond® 3/8" Hem Tape to the edge of your folded over seam. JeniferCowles HeatNBond Woven Fusible Blend Lola Top Peel off the paper backing and fuse the folded seam to the bodice.
