Hi Friends! Miranda here with another layout.
Today I am sharing my style of junk journaling. I have been searching other ways to scrapbook than just 12 by 12 layouts (which are my favorite). This month’s layout is still in the Hurricane Helene Album.
I wanted to work more on the Jack O’ Lantern Lane they have at Sara Farms Adventure. We always wait till it is really dark to walk through and it is so much fun. The first card I worked on was talking about how Sara’s Farm Adventure was able to open up just a week later than normal and we were able to go on the last weekend when Jack O’ Lantern Lane was open. I fussy cut out the card front called Ghouls & Grins , that had all the Ghosts. Before I did that, I ran the card front through the Gina K. Designs Fuse Foiling System Laminator with the Deco Foil Silver Shattered Glass.
I also kept all of the negative parts of the Card Fronts to use as layering pieces for the 4 by 6 layouts I built. The second layout I used the negative from the Card Front from the Halloween Mash Up collection. I love how shiny it is; it makes my heart sing!
Look at those little ghosts I added to the outside of the layout. They are so cute! Okay, let's work on the big final of these four 4 by 6 layouts. I took the card front called Witch Trio , ran it through the laminator machine with the Deco Foil Bitch and then got out my Ohuhu Alcohol Markers to color it. And I really love how it turned out! If you have never used these types of markers before, you are missing out. I really enjoy how they take a simple Card Front and turn it into something magical. I mean just look at how well it turned out.
I used my black marker to make the edging around it, for it to stand out on the my 4 by 6 layout. Lastly, I wanted to make sure that everything was looking perfect, I made sure to add the ghosts to every section of this spread.
