Fall Ink Blended Cards with Gina K. Designs StampnStencil

Hi, it's Mona here, I am super excited to share with you a new inspiration with the new Gina K Designs collection. Today I am going to show you a fun project which is perfect for bulk cardmaking. You can find the used supplies at the end of this post. For this project, I prepared white cardstocks in 5.25" by 4" inches. I am starting the cardmaking with a quick ink blending. I decided to make three cards with the same design so I am going to use various combinations with Distress Oxide inks. For my first card, I am going to combine the Peacock Feathers with the Picked Raspberry Distress Oxide ink and as you can see I got an amazing violet color on the edges. For my second card I picked the Wild Honey with the Picked Raspberry again and for the third background, I picked the Cracked Pistachio, Peacock Feathers and Blueprint Sketch. When I finished the ink blending process I splattered the backgrounds with clear water, then I added black watercolor splatters as well. Next I stamped the tree and the sentiments to the ink blended backgrounds from the new fabulous Autumn Wishes Stamp Set by Gina K Designs. I am positioning the tree and the sentiment to the center in my MISTI, and stamp it two times. I repeat this process to all my cards and I am adding a heat set with a heat gun. This is very important because this ink dries slower and it is really easy to smudge the stamping. Once it was done, I continued the stamping but this time around the edges with leaves. Then I added the heat set again. For my card I wanted to add a little black bling so I decided to apply Black Glitz Glitter Gel by Gina K through the Autumn Wishes stencil with Stencil Pal. Then I added the Glitz Glitter Gel to the edges of my cards with my finger. In the end, I am going to make reverse scalloped frame die-cuts with Lawn Fawn dies, with the fabulous Black Onyx Premium Cardstock by Gina K Designs. I put my card together with Gina K designs Dot runner adhesive. This cardstock is my absolute favorite black cardstock. It has a perfect rich black color and its weight is just fabulous!
