The first two Cards are showcasing a BEAUTFUL Poinsettia & Pine Embossing Folder from Taylored Expressions!! You can use ANY Embossing Folder for this technique!!
For my First Card I'm showing how you can add Deco Foil to several different parts of the Embossed Design for a STUNNING Effect!! It's just GORGEOUS in real life and is worth the extra effort for the finished results!!
I Started by Adhering the Plush Paper in Carnation to a piece of Cardstock using the Easy Cut Adhesive Sheets!! Then I ran it through my Die Cutting Machine to push the Plush Paper into the Adhesive on the Cardstock!! Then I removed the Paper Backing and Die Cut the Plush Paper down!! Then I ran it through my Die Cutting Machine Again using the Taylored Expressions Poinsettia & Pine Embossing Folder!! SWOON!! Just look at those finished results!! This Panel alone would make a STUNNING Background, but today were going to step it up a notch!!
Next I added some Distress Oxide Inks to the Embossed Panel using sone Small Ink Brushes!! I used Seedless Preserves for the Poinsettias, Fossilized Amber for the Tiny Flowers and Rustic Wilderness for the Greenery!! This would make a BEAUTFUL Background and you could change the colors to personalize the design for the recipient!!
Next I Painted on some of the Deco Foil Liquid Adhesive using a Paint Brush just in the areas I wanted to add some Deco Foil to!! Once the Deco Foil Liquid Adhesive was completely Dry I added some of the Deco Foil Color Harmony Pink in Mulberry!! Then I added some of the Deco Foil in Gold to the center of the Tiny Flowers!! Then I added some Deco Foil in Blizzard for the Tiny Dots!!
SWOON!! The Touches of Deco Foil really add some LIFE to the Panel and the addition of the Sparkle and Shine really make it BEAUTIFUL!! Then i adhered some Trinity Stamps Rhinestones to the center of the Poinsettias doe even more Sparkle and Shine!!
I adhered the Embossed and Foiled Panel to an NND Framework Frame that was Die Cut from some White Cardstock and Inked with some Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide Ink for some Shading!! Then I Stamped and Embossed the Thank You Sentiment with some WoW Embossing Powder and adhered it to the Card Panel using some Foam Tape for some Dimension!!
I LOVE how this turned out and I hope it NSPIRES You to give this Technique a Try!!
My Second Card is a Tone-on-Tone Design!! This Design can be done in ANY Color combination I just wanted to show how you can add just a little less Deco Foil for a Different look and I LOVE how it turned out!!
I Started by Adhering the Plush Paper in Stone to a piece of Cardstock using the Easy Cut Adhesive Sheets!! Then I ran it through my Die Cutting Machine to push the Plush Paper into the Adhesive on the Cardstock!! Then I removed the Paper Backing and Die Cut the Plush Paper down!! Then I ran it through my Die Cutting Machine Again using the Taylored Expressions Poinsettia & Pine Embossing Folder!! SWOON!! Just look at those finished results!! This Panel alone would make a STUNNING Background, but today were going to step it up a notch!!

This to would make a BEAUTFUL Background and you could change the colors to personalize the design for the recipient!! I LOVE the Tone on Tone Colors for something unexpected!!

Once the Deco Foil Liquid Adhesive was completely Dry I added some Deco Foil in Blizzard to the Tiny Dots!! Then I added some of the Deco Foil Color Harmony Brown in Honey to the center of the Tiny Flowers!!
I adhered the Embossed and Foiled Panel to an NND Framework Frame that was Die Cut from some White Cardstock and Inked with some Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink for some Shading!! Then I Stamped and Embossed the Thank You Sentiment with some WoW Embossing Powder and adhered it to the Card Panel using some Foam Tape for some Dimension!! Then I adhered some Trinity Stamps Baubles to the center of the Poinsettias for even more Texture and they finish off the Poinsettias Perfectly!!

I'm repeating the Design for two more Cards this time using a Spellbinders Stary Snowfall 3D Embossing Folder and I'm using the Deco Foil Pen to add some Splatters for a FUN Snowfall Deco Foiled Finish!!
I LOVE how Simple this Design is and it REALLY Packs a Punch with the different Colors!!

Here's a Close-up look at the Splatters!! They are hard to see in photos, but in real life they add a STUNNING finish to this Card Panel!! SWOON!!

For the last Card I'm using some White Cardstock to show that you can try this technique with Cardstock too!!
