Rita Barakat here with a fun and easy mixed media piece involving an inexpensive frame, Therm O Web iCraft® DecoFoil™ , Peel and Stick™ adhesive and a little paint! It's never too early to start thinking of easy projects to make as gifts with holidays coming! rita-barkakat-therm-o-web-2 Let's grab an inexpensive frame, Peel N Stick™ adhesive sheets,Therm O Web iCraft® DecoFoil™ sheets and a little paint. rita-barkakat-therm-o-web-3 [pullquote width="300" float="left"]The Peel N Stick™ is fabulous for die cutting machines but did you also know you can easily cut out your own shapes with a scissors?[/pullquote] rita-barkakat-therm-o-web-4 After you cur out your shape - or in my case a border, you peel one side and adhere it to your project. Use a little pressure to rub out any air bubbles. rita-barkakat-therm-o-web-5 With the shiny side of the Therm O Web iCraft® DecoFoil™ facing up, rub the foil so that it sticks to the adhesive. There were small grooves in the wood, those patterns add to the beauty to the piece! rita-barkakat-therm-o-web-6 Don't worry if this looks perfect - it probably won't and its' Okay this is mixed media! rita-barkakat-therm-o-web-7 Next add some random drops of paint, use a card to spread the color and add your picture! Fabulous and easy! Gotta love it!
