DIY Frame Makeover with Deco Foil

Hey Creatives! Rita Barakat here with a fun and easy mixed media piece involving an inexpensive frame, Therm O Web iCraft® DecoFoil™ , Peel and Stick™ adhesive and a little paint! It's never too early to start thinking of easy projects to make as gifts with holidays coming! Let's grab an inexpensive frame, Peel N Stick™ adhesive sheets,Therm O Web iCraft® DecoFoil™ sheets and a little paint. [pullquote width="300" float="left"]The Peel N Stick™ is fabulous for die cutting machines but did you also know you can easily cut out your own shapes with a scissors?[/pullquote] After you cur out your shape - or in my case a border, you peel one side and adhere it to your project. Use a little pressure to rub out any air bubbles. With the shiny side of the Therm O Web iCraft® DecoFoil™ facing up, rub the foil so that it sticks to the adhesive. There were small grooves in the wood, those patterns add to the beauty to the piece! Don't worry if this looks perfect - it probably won't and its' Okay this is mixed media!
