DecoFoil Pineapple Wall Art

Hello all, Juliana here with you today to share a fun summer themed project I created using the Therm O Web iCraft White Foam Adhesive and DecoFoil™. When I started thinking about what to create for this project, the first thing that came to mind was to create some sort of wall art piece. I thought a pineapple would be a fun summer themed image. I began by designing a pineapple shape and turning it into a digital cut file (which you can download below for free). I created it to have layers which would allow the combination of different colors of DecoFoil™. I then selected greens and golds to add a fun monochromatic touch to the design. Therm O Web Supplies: Therm O Web iCraft® DecoFoil™ White Foam Adhesive Therm O Web iCraft® DecoFoil™ – Gold, Champagne, Lime Green, Green I die cut the various pieces from the Foam Adhesive. When cutting the Foam Adhesive place the foam dull side down on the cutting mat. Here are the recommended cut settings for the Silhouette Cameo: Stamp Setting - set blade at 10. (Silhouette is preprogrammed for 9.) Speed 1 Thickness 18 Double Cut Checked Line Segment Overcut On - 0.1mm for start and end Project Instructions: After I cut the foam, I peeled off the backing paper and placed a piece of DecoFoil™ onto the piece of foam. Once all of the pieces were covered with foam, I layered and arranged all of the pieces together to form the completed pineapple shape. The finished Pineapple is 13 inches in height. The frame I placed it in is 8.5 x 16. I love how this wall art adds a touch of summer to my home.
