Deco Foil Metallix Shines for Cardmaking

HELLO CRAFTY FRIENDS!! Larissa here today to share a couple of FUN Projects I made for the Spring/Summer Coffee Lovers Blog Hop!! I'm using some Paper Smooches Products along with some of my Favorite NEW Therm O Web Products!! Let's get Started!!

Deco Foil Metallix Coffee Card

For my first Project, I wanted to create a Framed Scene!! I LOVE the NEW Pearl Metallix Gel!! Not only is it BEAUTIFUL on its own, but it can be changed to ANY color you want simply by adding your FAVORITE Color Medium!! I've chosen Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Spray for mine today!! First, I added some White Pearl Metallix Gel to a Paper Plate and then added a few Drops of Spun Sugar Distress Oxide Spray! Then I mixed it together and it was ready to use!! Next, I sprayed the Gina K Designs Stencil with Pixie Spray and placed it on my Cardbase!! I used Purple Tape to mask off the area I wanted Stenciled!! I used the Stencil Pal to apply the Spun Sugar Pearl Metallix Gel to my Cardbase!! Then, I removed the Stencil and the Purple Tape so my Gel could dry!! For the Frame, I Foiled the Deco Foil Toner Sheets with some Champagne Deco Foil!! Then I Die Cut the Frame using the Paper Smooches Fab Frames Die!! I Stamped and Embossed the Rose Cluster Image onto the Coffee Cup Wrap and colored it in using Copic Markers (I used Roses: RV00, R11, and R34 Leaves: G40, G43 and G46) I wanted a dimensional Cup so I layered 4 Die Cuts together from Kraft Cardstock and 2 Die Cuts that I Cut from Gina K Designs Luxury White Cardstock for the Lid and Wrap!! I wanted to add a Mini Tag to the Coffee Cup and I Foiled the Deco Foil Toner Sheets with Pink Quartz Deco Foil and Die Cut a Mini Heart to add to the Tag!! Products Used Therm O Web Products: Deco Foil Toner Sheets Deco Foil Transfer Sheets in Champagne and Pink Quartz Pixie Spray Deco Foil Metallix Gel in White Pearl Gina K Designs Luxury White Cardstock Gina K Designs Stamp-n-Stencil Crazy Daisy Stencil Stencil Pal Gina K Designs Terrific Tape Gina K Designs Foam Tape Other Products: Paper Smooches Rosy Posy Stamp Set and Dies Paper Smooches Fun and Flirty Stamp Set Copic Markers Paper Smooches Fab Frames Dies Paper Smooches Inchies Dies Distress Oxide Spray in Spun Sugar Paper Smooches Cozy Coffee Die Tonic Studios Glitter Pen Tonic Studios Glitter Nuvo Drops  

Deco Foil Metallix Bear Card

For my second Project, I wanted to create a FUN Scene!! I started by Stamping and Embossing the Images from the So Fairy Cute Stamp Set!! Then I colored them in using Copic Markers!! (I used Bear: E40, E42, E43, and E44 Cheeks and Inside of Ear: R00 Star Wand, Crown, and Bee: Y11, Y15, and YR23 Skirt: RV00, R11 and R34 Wings: BG000 and BG10) I applied Tonic Studios Glitter Pen to the Skirt and Wings and then applied some Morning Dew Nuvo Drops for some Shine and Dimension!! I also applied some Tonic Studios Glitter Nuvo Drops to the Stars and Crown!! You can NEVER Have too much Sparkle right!!?? Black Nuvo Drops were added to the Bears Nose and Eyes!! Then I repeated the Same Steps as above to Stencil on the Metallix Gel Design for the Background Design of my Cardbase!! Then set it aside to Dry!! Next, die Cut the Coffee Mug from some Deco Foiled Toner Sheets that I Foiled using Negative Foiled leftovers in both Pink Quarts and Turquoise Deco Foil!! I LOVE that you can use ALL of the leftover pieces to create your own Patterned Designs!! I Die Cut a Scalloped Frame from some Deco Foiled Toner Sheets with Champagne Deco Foil and then adhered everything together!! I used Gina K Designs Foam Tape to POP UP the Images and my Card was done!!
