Deco Foil Flock Thanks Doc Card

Hello Therm-O-Web friends! This week we are saying a big "THANKS" to all those out there helping us all through this crisis. For today's project, I am using Deco Foil Flock Transfer Sheets with Deco Foil Foam Adhesive along with the Layered Hearts stencil from Pretty Pink Posh and My Favorite Things Birdie Brown Doctor's Orders digital stamp.

Deco Flocked Thanks Doc Card

I love creating backgrounds with the Deco Flock transfer sheets. This process is so easy to achieve. Pick your favorite stencil. Cut the foam adhesive sheet to 6 x 6, and peel off one layer. Adhere the Flock transfer sheet (flock side up) and then lay your stencil on top. Place in between two embossing plates and run through your embossing machine. The result is a stunning design like my scattered hearts pictured below. Next, peel off the back layer and adhere to a piece of cardstock. I do this because the pressure of the embossing caused the flock to curl a bit. By mounting to cardstock, I can trim it down to 4 x 5 1/3. Then using Therm-O-Web's XL tape runner, adhere to the blue card base in A2 size (4 1/2 x 5 1/2) Next, I printed the digital print that I downloaded as a freebie that was offered on the My Favorite Things Blog. Unfortunately, I am unable to link to the free digital download as it has been removed from the MFT blog but this stamp set is available for purchase and is linked in my supply list above. I used a variety of Copic markers to color the image and die cut the sentiment. Now that my image is colored, I used iCraft 3D foam squares to adhere to the digital image and sentiment to my embossed flock card base/. Here's my finished card. A perfect way to say thanks to my personal Dr. whom I appreciate for all of her hard work and dedication to her patients.
