Deco Foil Flock Flower Sympathy Card

by Designer on February 19, 2020
Hello, Therm-O-Web fans! Shemaine here sharing a Sympathy themed card featuring Deco Flock and the soon to be released, Lovely Lavender Glitz Glitter Gel. Our Deco Flock is so versatile and easy to use. You can cut it, emboss it, use mediums over it and more! For this card, I chose to pair it with some pretty flower dies. Sympathy cards are never easy to send but these products helped create a beautiful design that will hopefully bring a little light to the recipient.

Sympathy Card

For this card, I chose to pair the Lovely Lavender Glitz glitter gel with the waffle pattern in the Sweet Stuff collection by Rina K Designs. Using the pixie spray on the back of the stencil, I laid the stencil over my cardstock, secured it with purple tape, and used my Stencil pal to spread the glitz over the stencil. Let the stenciled Glitz glitter gel dry for several hours. To cut the flowers I used the Anna Griffin 3D flower die face down on the Deco Flock. Next, cut the leaf stems with Green Envy Deco Flock (not pictured) Layer the flowers using our 3D foam squares and finish with 3 of the Gem Stickers in the center. Now the assembly of the card is quick and easy using our XL adhesive runner. Layer the dried Glitz glitter gel on the right side of the embossed card base. Then adhere to the flowers and finish with the stamped sentiment. I love embossing white cardstock. It always gives the card base such a textured look and was perfect with the flocked flowers. I hope you'll give this technique a try! Thanks for stopping by today. Shemaine
