Deco Foil Flock Corgi Gift Tags with DUO Gel

by Chrissie Tobas on January 31, 2022
Hi! Chrissie here and I have some adorable tags to share that I created using our fantastic DecoFoil Transfer Flock and Transfer Foils! Remember the days of flock in a jar that spilled all over and stuck to your fingers when you glued it down? You can repress those memories because you don’t have to do that ever again! The DecoFoil Transfer Flock STAYS ON THE SHEET. All you have to do is add pressure (using a die-cut machine) and it will transfer onto your design with zero mess. Just add your adhesive and transfer the flock!

For these tags, I only used the DecoFoil DUO Transfer Gel, but you can use almost any Thermoweb adhesive with the Flock! I’ve used the XL Tape Runner, Blanco Gel, Foam Sheets and regular Adhesive sheets, too. I added some DecoFoil DUO Transfer Gel with my Stencil Pal and allowed it to dry for about an hour (time varies depending upon humidity). I just placed the flock onto the dry gel and ran it through my die-cutting machine the same way I would cut with dies. The flock adhered and it looks awesome! For the foiling, I waited for my laminator to be hot then placed the foil (silver side down) onto the toner front and placed them inside parchment paper. It went through the laminator and came out foiled! This is such an easy (and fun) way to add more interest to projects. Flock and foil add that extra “something” and I ALWAYS get asked my people how I added them onto my cards. They don’t even believe me that it’s as easy as it is. Thanks so much for stopping by today! Make sure to tag us #decofoil #thermoweb so we can see what you create and share it! -Chrissie
