Although it's not Monday...(we're taking the day off to honor Memorial Day) we're mixing things up today with a unique mixed media project. Designer Rebecca Keppel found that when working with Rebekah Meier Mixed Media line and The Crafter's Workshop Stencils, it is fun to create triptych looking cards. You may ask with is Triptych? Triptych is the technique of taking an image and breaking it into three canvases or panels. You will die cut three rectangles from Rebekah Meier's Art Paper using the Gina K Double Stitched Rectangle die to create the panels. Triptych Card Project Instructions:

Tape the back of the panels together to a protected work surface and apply the iCraft Deco Foil™ Transfer Gel over a stencil.rk tow RM MM May-9173Once the Deco Foil™ Transfer Gel is dry, send it through the laminator with Rebekah Meier's Foils.rk tow RM MM May-9183Then apply inks or watercolors and the foil acts as a resist. Remove the backing of the Art Paper and press down on the card panel leaving a margin on the left and right of the center panel.
