The shimmer of the Deco Foil used to create embellishments from the Unity Toner Card Fronts is THE perfect way to detract the viewer from the large cluster of black in the center of the layout that is the photos. There are perfect "whole" shapes for fussy cutting in each of the Card Fronts. Or, you could use them whole for layering, to back photos, the possibilities are endless! I opted for fussy cut flowers (from the "Flowers & Lines") and butterflies (from the Butterfly Fly Away) as complimentary embellishments to the Paige Evans collection I am using to create with.
The weight of the cardstock on the toner sheets is just perfect for curled edges, thus being able to add dimension as well as visual interest to your scrapbook page. Or a card!
You can even use the "partial" shapes as I did with the flower above. They tuck in as layers or can be used flush with edges, as I did. They can be left white, "as is" or colored. I used Peerless watercolors in complementary Deco Foil colors to add additional color to the layout.
As always, I have a process video available over on the ThermOWeb YouTube channel if you are interested in checking that out - see for yourself how shimmery these are and how the DecoFoil adds to the layout! You could even add some flock greenery to the floral clusters to add another texture to the page! Ooooh!!!!
