Create a Fall Layout with Mixed Media Sheets & Watercolor Deco Foil

Although it is mid-September, it doesn't quite feel like fall yet! But that doesn't stop me from breaking into my fall scrapbooking supplies! One of the first things that crossed my mind when I saw the iCraft® Mixed Media sheets was how beautiful they would be cut into leaf shapes. fall-take-it-in Create a Fall Layout with Mixed Media Sheets & Watercolor Deco Foil Project Supplies: 3D & Bling Zots™ Adhesive Dots Deco Foil™ Hot Melt Adhesive Amber Watercolor Deco Foil™ Emerald Watercolor Deco Foil™ iCraft® Mixed Media sheets - Light Weight iCraft® Mixed Media Liquid Adhesive
Project Instructions: I first added some Deco Foil™ Hot Melt adhesive to one of the mixed media sheets and covered it with Amber Watercolor Deco Foil™. Then I used a thick metal leaf die to cut out some leaf shapes. fall-take-it-in-1 fall-take-it-in3 For the colored leaves, I used the Light Weight Mixed Media sheets and painted them with acrylic paint, let them dry, and cut them with the same dies. Then I layered them under my fall "leaf-pile" photos. fall-take-it-in-2 fall-take-it-in-4 You can watch my full process here: or click here: [youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=756zRYqErK8] I hope these photos have inspired you to try some new techniques with the Mixed Media sheets and DecoFoil!
