Create a Fall Layout with Deco Foil Leaves

Hey friends, Becki here. Fall is just around the corner and I couldn't be more excited! Fall is my favorite season, by far, no questions asked. I love every minute of Fall. As I was going through some Fall photos the other day, I found these two photos of my kiddos sitting in a sea of beautifully colored Fall leaves in the yard of our first home. I knew I wanted to create a layout with these photos using some gorgeous Amber watercolor DecoFoil™. Here are a few of the supplies you'll need to create this project: Thermoweb Supplies: iCraft® Deco Foil™ Liquid Adhesive iCraft® Deco Foil™ Transfer Sheets in Amber Watercolor 3D White Foam Squares Memory Tape Runner XL Other supplies: Manual die cut machine leaf die patterned paper stickers black pen date stamp black stamping ink

Instructions: Start by cutting leaves with the manual die cut machine out of patterned paper. When you have all the leaves cut, then it's time to add DecoFoil™ adhesive. You'll want to use an old (or inexpensive paint brush for this project). Put a small amount of adhesive on a piece of scratch paper or a paint tray. Dry brush a medium thick amount of adhesive onto each leaf. Allow the leaves to dry for several minutes. The adhesive should be tacky but not wet. If the adhesive is still wet the foil will not transfer. After allowing the leaves to dry, apply the DecoFoil™. Press firmly across the leaves to transfer the foil. [tooltip text="TooltipText"]I don't recommend using a manual die cut machine for this step. Too much pressure will smash the brush strokes.[/tooltip] These leaves turned out so gorgeous! At this point, they're ready to go on your layout (or any other Fall project).   I added TONS of these all over my layout. I think it turned out amazing!
