Colors of Fall Week – Happy Fall Scrapbook Layout by Jessica Michaels
Jessica here with another scrapbook layout featuring deco foil and the Magical Monarchs stamp and die set from Brutus Monroe! Everyone who knows me knows that my favorite season to scrap is Fall! I absolutely love the colors and was so excited to utilize foil and these beautiful butterflies on one of my layouts of my sweet son!
I cut the Giant Maple Leaf cutfile by Peartree Cutfiles on my cutting machine from the Peel & Stick Toner Sheets and then cut it again using the hide contours feature to make it solid behind the file from one of the background papers from the Cozy Days collection by Simple Stories. The wonderful thing about the Peel & Stick Toner sheets is you can die cut or cut on a machine like this and run through a hot laminator to apply deco foil, which is exactly what I did! I applied bronze Deco Foil to the cutfile after peeling off the backing from the toner sheet and adhering to the rest of the cutfile.
Next, I die-cut some of the Magical Monarch butterflies by Brutus Monroe and some leaves from various scraps I have left of this collection to embellish my layout. I attached them with my tape runner and the small Zots and added more adhesive brads to the butterflies. I finished embellishing with a few stickers from the Cozy Days collection and added the Happy Fall title to finish it off. I just love how this giant foiled leaf pops off the mixed media!
