Hello, friends! Ellen here and today I am sharing two cards I made featuring a lot of ThermOWeb's Deco Foil flock with a jungle theme in mind.

Colorful Jungle Cards with Deco Foil Flock

Let me start by explaining how I made the slimline card.

Slimline Jungle Card with Flock

I chose to apply the flock onto the foam adhesive sheets first. For this I simply the pressure of my die cutting machine (flipping the different flock sheets with the flock sides onto the exposed adhesive. Next you run it through the die-cutting machine). After that, I did cut the flocked adhesive with my dies. I love all these vibrant flock colors it makes it look already so tropical! You can blend some ink on the images, to create some depth, but in this case, I kept the flock like it was. Next, I prepared the background. I used the Deco Foil Kraft Slimline Toner Card Fronts (Candy Stripes) and applied Deco Foil Gold Shattered Glass Transfer Sheet on top. You can do that with a hot laminator. I did sew around the complete background and used one of the quotes from the Laura Kelly Me and My Peeps stamp set to create a fitting message. It became the perfect tropical Birthday card (the card says Happy Birthday, make today beautiful in Dutch).

A2 New Job Card with Flock

Next, I created a card for a colleague that is leaving at my husband's work. It says: Goodbye Colleague, we will miss you. Just like I explained before I applied flock to foam adhesive and created different shapes; leaves, parrots and words. On this card, I wanted to use the Deco Foil Transfer Sheets, Rainbow Shattered Glass. I combined it with the Deco Foil Kraft Toner Card Fronts, Lots of Dots. I applied all elements on my cards with foam adhesive and glue dot runner. I think it’s so stunning and all colors fit so well together on both cards. The foil, craft toner sheets and flock are just perfect for this jungle theme!
