Welcome ThermOWeb fans! Have you seen the new Brutus Monroe products released by ThermOWeb this week?! OH! MY! WORD!!! Gorgeous! Just fantastic! Trying to limit myself to a reasonable number of goodies on a single page layout was TOUGH, they are that good.

Christmas Memories Scrapbook Layout with Brutus Monroe

There are 3 of the new toner sheets used on this layout; the fussy cut leaves up top from the Floral Fantasy Mixable (foiled with Green Sketch Foil) and the speech bubbles and numbers from the Really Radiant collection. The numbers toner sheet has been left "raw", ie no foil applied. The speech bubbles were foiled with Blue Wave transfer sheets. Look at that angel; isn't she gorgeous?! I used the new Pewter Ripple toner sheet with Peel and Stick Toner Sheets which I then ran through my manual die cut machine with one of Brutus Monroe's new Christmas metal dies. The way the light catches these Ripple toner sheets is just stunning. There's a beautiful rainbow reflection and yet there's also a lovely pink hue that works so well with the red in the layout. This layout didn't need much in the way of "other" embellishments due to these wonderful metal dies and toner sheets. The fussy cut florals from Floral Fantasy with the red baker's twine resemble mistletoe, wouldn't you agree?

While not Christmasy at all, the foiled speech bubbles from the Really Radiant four-pack worked so well in juxtaposition with the stamped "ho ho ho" sentiment. It was a fun way to make the black and white photo pop against the foil and color and add an unexpected element to the page. Not all toner sheets need to be foiled, sometimes the black alone is suitable for your design needs. The white in the toner sheet provides a resting spot from all the colors on the layout. And it pops the red really well.
