And don't forget about joining us both on IG for more fun and giveaways! It's going to be a great week around here!! Kicking things off today is Lynnea with an absolutely incredible trio of fruity cards with custom colored Deco Foil Metallix AND a STUNNING CARD (yes we're yelling we're so excited) made with our Deco Foil Metallix! EPPPP!
Hello! It's Lynnea and I'm so excited to share my ThermOWeb and The Ink Road collaboration projects! I made a few projects and I split them into two different videos. Both feature Deco Foil Metallix, so they are similar but just different enough that I thought they needed their own videos!

Ink Road Fruity Cards

Let's start with the first card ... which is actually a set of 4 cards! I LOVE the Deco Foil Metallix gels and I especially LOVE that you can alter the White Pearl to be whatever color you want! I worked with the This Stamp is Bananas stamp set from The Ink Road Stamps for this set of cards. I thought it would be super fun to have colored backgrounds that match the fruits in the stamp set! You'll find I have a video showing how I mixed my colors, so be sure to watch that for tips and tricks! And I decided to use my liquid watercolors to add color, but you can use whatever you have! I put some of the Deco Foil White Pearl Metallix Gel onto my glass work surface and dropped in liquid watercolor and mixed it together once it got to the color I was looking for! I used Pixie Spray on the back of a stencil and then spread over the colored Metallix Gel. Then I stamped a bunch of fruits from the This Stamp is Bananas stamp set using a variety of inks and then cut them out. Once my backgrounds were dry I added my stamped images and sentiments using a mix of Gina K Designs White Foam Squares and iCraft Ultra Bond Liquid Adhesive. https://youtu.be/DYMTcpbs_Ig Above is my video for the first set of cards! Let's move on to my last card!

Chin Up Buttercup Metallix Ink Road Card

My last card uses the Deco Foil Metallix Gel in a straight forward way. I just couldn't resist the black and yellow color combination! It's one of my favorites! I used the absolutely STUNNING Black Ice Metallix Gel with a stencil to create my background. Then I used a stencil that had a fairly large surface area so that my background would be mostly covered by the Metallix Gel. Seriously the Black Ice Metallix Gel is GORGEOUS! And I LOVE the look of the yellow flowers from the Chin Up Buttercup stamp set from The Ink Road! I stamped and colored a bunch of the flowers, little hexagons, and I also stamped and heat embossed the large sentiment and cut them all out. I LOVE how this one turned out! I added the flowers and hexagons to my card with iCraft Ultra Bond Liquid Adhesive and the sentiment with a mix of Gina K Designs White Foam Squares and iCraft Ultra Bond Liquid Adhesive.
