New Job Cards with Deco foil Flock and Foils

New Job Flock Sun Card

I wanted to make an atypical card set, happy and positive. I created two cards using flock and foil. First I did create the pretty sun card. I started to apply the flock onto foam adhesive tape. First, you cut a piece of flock slightly larger than the design and place it on top of the exposed adhesive foam tape. Then you run it through a manual die-cutting machine. The pressure makes sure the flock sticks on the foam sheet. After pushing it true the machine you can peel off the sheet from the foam. Next, you can cute the flocked foam in any shape you like. I started with the sun, but I also did cut out clouds, letters, stars and the world. Next, I created the background. I used a stencil with Transfer Gel Duo and Glitz Glitter Gel. First, you have to ink the background. I used Removable Pixie Tape (you can use iCraft Pixie Spray too) to tape the background on the stencil. Then you can apply the Transfer Gel DUO across the stencil using the Deco Foil Stencil Pal. I made sure I let it dry for 1 hour/until it was completely clear. Then you can add the Deco Foil Transfer Foil on top of the gel (pretty foil side up). I did place the bundle inside a folded piece of parchment paper and run through a hot laminator. I think the quote is perfect for people that did need a new start and deserver a better job.

New Job Flock World Card

Next, I created the second card with a world illustration. The flocked stars and world was already created as told above. On this card, I did want to make a foiled text. I thought it would be fun to a text with different colors. You can apply foil on top Deco Foil Toner Sheets (another way to use foil). You cut a piece of foil slightly larger than the piece of toner sheet. Place the foil, color side facing up, on top of the toner sheet. Place the sandwich inside the folded parchment paper. Put it in a hot laminator. After removing the residue from the foil transfer sheet away from the Toner Sheet. I repeated this process a few times for all the different foil sheets. Next, I did cut out the letters. When you begin a new job, you do need a lot of good luck to start with a good feeling. This card brings good vibes. It was so nice to create my own text with the alphabet dies. Did you ever make a card with your own texts? I think it's so very fun to do!
