I started the layout with a sheet of white cardstock and pulled out some patterned papers by Doodlebug and tore them into layers for the top of my layout. I wanted to create some mixed media on this layout so I grabbed Speckled Egg Distress Oxide and my blending brush and just lightly blended some of the oxide ink onto my paper below my ripped layers. I then splattered it lightly with a paintbrush and water for a marbled effect since the oxides react with water. I dried that layer and then pulled out my Transfer Gel Blanco and a stencil to add some fun waves and fish on top of the mixed media. Once that dried, I placed sheets of Snow White Deco Foil Transfer Sheets on top of the Blanco gel and ran that through my hot laminator to keep it nice and white and shiny! Next, I cut apart the Brutus Monroe adhesive transfer sheets since they looked like bubbles to me and I thought this would add the perfect touch to my layout! I've scattered the bubbly bits around my page by peeling off the backing and running that through my laminator, then running it through again after applying pieces of Brutus Monroe Blue Waves foil sheets. I just love how these came out! I added some splatters with Speckled Egg Distress Oxide, Blue Ribbon Distress Ink, and some Nuvo Sparkle Sprays. Then I also added some white splatters with some watered-down gesso and I absolutely love how they adhered to the blue foil bits as well! Next, I went to work on the "Hello" part of my title using one of the toner card sheets and my same distress oxide and ink with blending brushes. I blended the Speckled Egg on the top portion first, and then the Blue Ribbon on the bottom for an ombre effect. I then wiped it with a paper towel to get the toner portion cleaned again before splattering it with water lightly. I placed a piece of the white snow foil transfer sheets on top and ran it through my laminator- boy it's getting a workout today! Out came this shiny Hello goodness! I finished it off by adhering everything to my page using my foam tape roll, tape runner, easy tear tape and zots bling for the small bits. I've added lots of embellishments from the Doodlebug collection and some thread! I have a process video on YouTube so you can see exactly how this came together!
