Check out the step by step instructions below for this project. I hope you will love it.
First, I started the cardmaking with stamping. I stamped the solid images from the Sweet Stuff and Sending Sunshine Stamps from Rina K. Designs and I have also used an older Stamp set named, Where Flowers Bloom by Gina K Designs.
I used Electro Pop inkpads by Rina K designs by Rainbow order with my MISTI to a white cardstock. Once the stamping was done, I run them through my die-cut machine with the coordinating dies.
Next, I added to my stamped images the new Glitz Glitter Gel in various colors through the coordinating stencil as well as the Blanco Deco Foil Transfer Gel. The Pixie spray and the Stencil Pal were my big friends, and I made this process really quickly and easily. After this I let the images dry.
While the gel dried, I die-cut the background and the sentiments. I have used the Quilted Backdrop Die by Lawn Fawn. For the Sentiments I picked Hello and Hugs word dies from Heffy Doodle, and a Sweet Die-cut from Lawn Fawn.
I run these dies through my Die-cut machine with Desert Storm cardstock six times. I adhered the sentiment pieces together to create a heavy “chipboard looking” sentiment.
When the used mediums were dry, I added highlights to the stamped images with White pen and I started to put together my card with Tape Runner XL adhesive.
I also wanted to play with the dimension on my card so I adhered the images with 3D Foam squares and Foam Squares by Gina K. Designs to create a more unique look.
In the end I styled my card, and adhered clear sequins to embellish my card With Ultra Bound Adhesive.
I hope you have enjoyed my colorful project for today. I created each design a little bit differently. Which one is your favorite? Let me know in a comment. See you next time, Mona.
