Canvas Bird Art Facebook Live

by Lisa Ruble on April 11, 2024
Hi! It's Lisa from Quilty Zest and I have a new spring project to share with you! While the weather here in SW Michigan hasn't quite warmed up for good yet, trees are budding and the birds are chirping! I used that as my inspiration to create some Canvas Bird Art! I'll be sharing how to make these two pieces in my upcoming Facebook Live in the Therm O Web Craft Room Facebook Group! Join me tonight at 7:30 PM CDT as I share the steps to make these two pieces of wall decor. They'd be fantastic to brighten up a wall in your house, or even as a mother's day gift! All you need are fabric scraps, felt, HeatnBond Lite Sewable, Fusible Fleece, Fabric Fuse Liquid Adhesive, Pressing Paper, and canvas frames (I used 8x10 and 6x8 frames from Dollar Tree). Download the applique templates here. Don’t forget to join the Therm O Web Facebook Group prior to our live by clicking here and answering the questions to join! These projects could even be no-sew if you wanted - I added some free motion "sketch" stitching to create a whimsical looking "outline" on my pieces. Hope to see you during the Facebook Live! Lisa
