Bon Voyage! Card with Brutus Monroe Toner Sheets

by Chrissie Tobas on May 28, 2022
Hi all! Chrissie here and it’s almost summer! You know what that means – Grads, Dads and VACATIONS! Woo hoo! I created a card today to celebrate a friend going on a getaway this summer.

Bon Voyage Card with Brutus Monroe Toner Sheets

This card was pretty fast to create, which is a win-win! Using any Designer Toner Sheet or Card Front makes creating a snap! I grabbed one in my stash from Brutus Monroe but there are many fun ones you can use available on the Therm O Web website! (this splatter one would be fun too! Supplies Designer Toner Sheet Deco Foil Transfer Sheets, Ocean Blue iCraft 3D Double-Sided Adhesive Foam Squares (White), Combo Pack iCraft Memory Tape Runner XL (50ft) Zots Clear Adhesive Dots Roll 325 count, Bling Laminator Deco Foil Craft & Carrier Sheets iCraft Removable Pixie Tape Roll, 1 in x 20 yds Spectrum Noir Markers Catherine Pooler One Liners Sentiments Stamp Set Catherine Pooler Ocean Chumps Stamp Set and Dies I created the background using a Designer Toner Sheet. There are TONS of these to choose from in the shop! I simply trimmed it down to the size I wanted and then placed the Ocean Blue DecoFoil on it (silver side down). I placed both pieces inside a carrier sheet and ran them through my laminator. Once it came out, I peeled off the foil and BOOM! The background is done! Next, I stamped the image, colored it in with markers and then I die cut it out. I added a few little details with a white marker, too. For the sentiment, I stamped in on some cardstock and trimmed it down. I added a little ink to it, just to soften it up a bit. The final step was to assemble the card. I used my XL Memory Runner and 3D foam squares. I used some Zots Bling to attach the sequins. Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today! I’d love to see what you are creating, so please use #thermoweb and #decofoil on social media! -Chrissie
