by Thermoweb on May 06, 2016

It's Katrina here today from Paper, Scissors and Glue to share a layout about the blooming season! Or allergy season as I am calling it this year! I used some of the newest DecoFoil colors that debuted at CHA. I have to say, they are some of my favorite colors of the foils!

Start by turning on laminator to let warm up for about 20 minutes. This will make sure the foil will transfer. While laminator is heating, arrange placing of items for layout. Adhere items down that can be done at this step with a Sticky Tape Mini Runner. Use the DecoFoil™ Toner Sheets to create some one of a kind die cuts for layout buy using a die cutting machine.

Once die cuts have been cut, place in carrier sheet (supplied with toner sheet, lay the foil transfer sheet over the die cuts and run thru laminator. If careful, you can place more than one color of foil on die cuts and then have less trips thru the laminator. [tooltip text="TooltipText"]TIP: With die cuts, especially smaller ones or very open ones, place them on a piece of cardstock in the carrier sheet and then the foil on top of the die cuts. This will help the sandwich run smoothly thru the laminator and not get jammed in the rollers.[/tooltip] Add foiled die cuts to layout in areas that you had planned for them to be. 3D Foam Adhesive Squares can also be used to pop up embellishments and die cuts. Just place the foam sheet in your punch and punch away!
