Happy Birthday Kandice! I just love celebrating life, celebrating another year around the sun! Let’s face it, as creators, we are constantly making birthday cards and birthday gifts. Whether you know the person or not, someone is always celebrating a birthday; and September 22nd is mine! So, for my birthday card I created a colorful foiled present filled card.
To start, I foiled the Birthday Wish Deco Foil Toner Card with the Rainbow Shattered Glass Deco Foil Transfer Sheet using my Gina K. Fuse System Foiling machine. Once that was foiled, I used the negative piece from the Deco Foil Transfer Sheet and foiled that with a Solid Black Toner Card. In addition, I foiled another piece of the Rainbow Shattered Glass Deco Foil Transfer Sheet with the Solid Black Toner Card and die-cut two presents from it.
Next, I used a rectangle die and die-cut a rectangle from the foiled Birthday Wish Deco Foil Toner Card. Now that all of my card elements were foiled and die-cut, I started to assemble my Happy Birthday card.
I used the iCraft Ultrabond permanent adhesive to adhere the negative foiled Birthday Wish Deco Foil Toner Card to an A2 Card Base and adhered the foiled die-cut rectangle on top of that. Using the same permanent adhesive, I adhered the presents to the card and the happy birthday sentiment. Lastly, I used the Zots Bling Clear Adhesive Dots and adhered 3 black embellishments to my card.
