August means back to school time for many, but it's not too late to head to the beach for one last summer fling. Today I'm having some nautical fun with these sea-inspired tags made with lots of fabulous Therm O Web and new Gina K Designs products.

Let's take a closer look.

To begin, die cut tags from patterned paper, and layer the center of the tags with a contrasting print of paper. Apply Gina K Designs Turquoise Sea ink around the edges of the tags using an ink blending tool.
Nest two of the shapes from the Large Square Die Set and secure them together with a bit of washi tape. Die cut the frame from Turquoise Sea Premium Cardstock. Ink the edges with matching ink.

Remove the washi tape from the dies, and then die cut the larger shape again from Premium White cardstock. Sponge Turquoise Sea ink onto the white squares using the inking tool. Die cut a scalloped border from patterned paper. Remove the scallops, and retain the negative die cut strip.

Stamp Bear and Bird images from Waffle Flower Crafts onto Bristol smooth cardstock, and then watercolor the images using Zig Clean Color Real Brush markers. Fussy cut the images, and then adhere them to the center of the white die cut squares. Adhere the negative die cut border strip across the bottom of the panel, trimming the excess from the bottom and sides, as needed. Adhere the die cut frame on top of the panel.

Stamp, fussy cut, and color beach accessories like sunglasses, buckets, beach balls, and lotion. Place Small Zots adhesive dots onto the back side of the images, and then adhere them to the scene.

Apply 3D Adhesive Squares onto the back of cardstock sticker word strips, and add the stickers to the bottom of the frames. Tie the top of the tags with chunky twine. Add tiny patterned paper banner flags to the bottom of the frame.

Enjoy!
