Anchor Applique Mini Quilt with HeatnBond Feather lite

IMG_1147 Hey! It's Amanda here from Jedi Craft Girl. I am a huge fan of all things nautical and I can't get enough of anchor appliques! I love using Therm O Web's Heat n Bond Feather Lite applique sheets for quilting; the applique adhesive is super lightweight and keeps the quilt feeling soft! Isn't this the cutest fabric from Dear Stella?

Anchor Mini Quilt

IMG_1009To use Sizzix dies, iron Heat n Bond FeatherLite to the wrong side of the fabric, run it through your machine, peel off the backing paper, and heat set the image. Easy Peasy! Anchor Project Instructions

To make this mini quilt, follow the simple cutting instructions below: anchor mini quilt Die cut 6 anchors and center them on the (2) white triangles. Sew around them in navy blue thread. Sew the (3) sets of squares together, press, then add the anchor sections. Quilt as desired! IMG_1149
