by Jessica Michaels on September 11, 2023
by Jessica Michaels Hello everyone! Jessica here with a layout featuring Easy Cut Adhesive and Gina K Fancy Foils to document a couple photos of my son enjoying breakfast at school(photos taken by his grammy who works there). Therm O Web Supplies Used Memory Runner XL Memory Runner XL Refill UltraBond Liquid Adhesive, 2fl oz Easy Tear Tape ½” Jumbo Tape Roll 1/8" Deco Foil Transfer Sheets, Emerald Watercolor Easy Cut Adhesive Sheets Gina K Fancy Foils, Radiant Red Gina K Fancy Foils, Grass Green Craft & Carrier Sheets Gina K Foam Squares 1/2", White Other Supplies Used Bella Blvd School is Cool Collection Misc School collections from my stash Elle's Studio Pocket Tabbed Tags Dies, Daily Tabs Stamp Set, School Tabs Stamp Set Confetti stamp set by Stampin Up Distress Oxide Inks in Fossilized Amber, Lumberjack Plaid and Uncharted Mariner Electronic Cutting Machine Sequins from {Not} Just for Boys Kit Club White cardstock by Park Lane Paige Evans Date Stamp Hot Laminator I started this layout by pulling out a sheet of smooth white cardstock by Park Lane. I grabbed my school supplies stash and an apple cutfile from my Cricut Library and cut a bunch of apple shapes in black cardstock to start my apples. I then peeled the backing off two sheets of easy cut adhesive and placed it onto smooth white cardstock. I then cut the red and green layers of my apple out of the cardstock backed adhesive. Once those were cut, I pulled them off my cutting mat and peeled the other backing piece off each one to stick down to my coordinating Gina K Fancy Foil sheets. I then ran those through my hot laminator, sandwiched between a craft and carrier sheet. I then began working on placing my apples down on my page, scattering them in a vertical design. I marked out a three light pencil lines down my page and placed the apples down with my Memory XL Tape Runner. I then poked holes down all the vertical lines and did some hand stitching with some black bakers twine. Next, I added some stamping with a few stamps from my stash in coordinating distress oxide colors. I scattered those as well but kept them close to my vertical lines. I matted my photos with a patterned paper from the School is Cool collection by Bella Blvd and my tabbed folder die by Elle’s Studio. I adhered those layers together and to the page with my Easy Tear Tape in ½” size. I then stamped my date next to my photo using my Paige Evans roller date stamp and Uncharted Mariner Distress Oxide ink. I added my title with Bella Florence Alphas and a chipboard apple from the Bella collection. I continued adding embellishments from my stash using the UltraBond Liquid Adhesive, which dries clear! I popped up a few embellishments with some Gina K Foam squares as well. I finished it off by adding a bunch of sequins from the {Not} Just for Boys Kit Club and my UltraBond Liquid Adhesive and then I also used a tablet style border punch down the side, and backed that with some black cardstock to make it look really “schooly!” I added a couple stickers and my journaling down the side and this one is done!
