Before we send our special letter to the North Pole let me explain how I made it.
4. By adding more layers I got a pretty front for Santa's letter.
5. On the inside, I attached my card with the Adhesive Dot runner. Then it's time to decorate the inside.
6. I created a tag and a background with a similar background. First I did color the paper with blue Distress Inks. Then I added white 'Glitz Glitter Gell' with a stencil pall true a stencil.
7. Further, I added different elements. Each time I stamped, inked, and cut the illustrations from the 'Wishing You Joy' stamp set. Some of them got extra glitter by using the coordinating stencil and more Glitz Glitter Gell.
This idea with special envelopes that you can open comes from an aerogram. Aerogram letters were made to send out secret messages inside the envelope during the war. This one is just a little different as it's intended of course for Santa, with a holiday touch on it.
Don't you think this kind of card is super fun to make with your kids?
