A Trio of Christmas Cards

by Ellen Haxelmanns on May 15, 2024
Hi there, it's Ellen here again. I have a fun trio of cards to share! It's never to early to start making Christmas cards. Today I started making my first cards. The cards look a bit similar, but I didn't use a card sketch. I played with a Hot Foil plate... I applied the hot foil by moving the 'Hot Foil' plate in different angles (horizontal, vertical and oblique and edgeways). I applied flock too. I really like to use foam adhesive for this, but this can be very flexible and sometimes difficult to apply with a fine text like here. The tip is to remove all excess. You stick the flock on the correct place, while it is still in the cutting plate (like you see on the picture). This gives the perfect result every time! Of course I glued the other elements with our different glue options. Hopefully you found this blog post inspiring. Of course you can use the idea for other themes instead of Christmas cards.
