We at Therm O Web are so excited about the release of our new Gina K. Designs Electro Pop Neon collection! Four vibrant and bright neon colors in Therm O Web products you already know and love, including enamel and flock transfer sheets and fabulous Glitz Glitter Gel. Today I have a happy citrus-inspired card to share with a quick and easy technique for adding flock to stamped images.
Stamp the citrus slice image from the Sending Sunshine Stamp'nStencil set onto Luxury White cardstock using Hello Yellow Neon ink. Also, stamp a trio of leaves using Screamin' Green Neon ink.
Using the coordinating dies, and some Purple Tape to hold them in place, die cut all of the images.
Spray the back of the Sending Sunshine stencil with Pixie Spray, and allow the spray to dry until it becomes tacky to the touch. Place the stencil onto the lemon slice, and apply iCraft Deco Foil Transfer Gel Duo using a palette knife. Repeat this process for all of the citrus pieces. Allow the gel to dry completely.
Run the slices through the laminator with Hello Yellow Electro-Pop Neon Flock (fuzzy flock side down).
Prep your card base, and layer the base with patterned papers. Round the two right corners with a corner rounder punch. Cut a panel of Luxury White cardstock to fit the top 2/3 of the card base. Stamp the sentiment onto the top left corner in cobalt ink. Round the top right corner. Ink a strip of white cardstock with cobalt ink, and them punch it with a scalloped border punch. Adhere the border to the bottom of then panel, and tie the bottom with twine. Attach the panel to the card base using foam tape. Glue the citrus slices and leaves to the card using Mixed Media adhesive, placing bit of foam tape behind the images as needed.
