20 Minute Fabric Fuse No-Sew Table Runner

With spring coming, you might be tempted to update your decor. This no-sew table runner is a great way to add a pop of color and style to any room, and you can whip one up in 20 minutes or less, and make it without a sewing machine!

This table runner is so simple to make, and you only need a few inexpensive supplies: Fabric (home-decor weight) Coordinating Fringe-trim Thermoweb Fabric Fuse™ Liquid Adhesive Iron and Ironing Board Rotary Cutter, ruler, and mat Measuring tape supplies for table runner Measure your table. You'll want your fabric to be between 2/3-1/2 the width of the coffee table, and about 4" less than the length. Cut the fabric to size. cut fabric to size Place the fabric wrong-side-up on the ironing board. Starting with the short sides, press the fabric over 1/2". Repeat with the other two sides. press in half inch Run a line of Fabric Fuse Liquid Adhesive along the edge, about 1/4" away from the fold. run line of glue Finger-press the fabric down, then press with the iron. The weight of the iron will help spread out and distribute the glue. The heat of the iron will help to set the glue faster. press down glue Flip over the table runner. Lay the trim on top, along one of the short edges. Cut the trim to the appropriate length. cut trim to length Use Fabric Fuse to secure the trim in place. glue down trim Repeat with trim on the other side. Allow glue to dry.
